Free Website Traffic Model
Here is a free website traffic model in pdf format for you to download. This is a work in progress, and is a mind mapping exercise that I use to get ideas for generating traffic into, and out of, my websites. Although I created it using Free Mind, I exported it to pdf, and so you'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view it.
I have mapped out two main types of traffic. Those two types, very simply, are paid traffic, and non-paid traffic. The right side of the mind map shows traffic in, and the left side shows traffic out, for a total of 4 main types of website traffic (Paid in, paid out, free in, free out).
I offer no support on this file or these methods. This is simply a way to stimulate your thinking while planning your strategies.

The danger with mind mapping is that you can spend all of your time mind mapping and never actually do anything. At some point you have to stop planning and start implementing some of the techniques, and building effective systems that use those techniques.
